How Do Leaders Inspire Others?
We all want to be inspired and motivated by those who are leading us.
Leaders want to work with inspired and motivated staff.
So how do we get these things to overlap to deliver excellence and quality outcomes?
Those that look to a complex process of Behavioural Change programmes are missing the point somewhat; these expensive beauty parades are all about offering staff social support in the workplace, measures and objectives that presumably they “accept” and “understand”.
But where is the inspiration going to come from? This can only be sourced by the Leader having the conviction and patience to fully understand their staff, the operational demands and the process whereby staff are motivated to do things differently and not being afraid to take a few risks.
