This Monday Use The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People
Use Covey’s Seven Habits to sharpen up your week ahead!
Habit 1 – Be Proactive
You can control your own environment rather than have it control you. Self-determination, choice, and the power to decide how you respond to different stimuli and circumstances are critical here.
Habit 2 – Begin with the End In Mind
You need to lead yourself to the goals and aims that you have set. Concentrate on relevant activities so that you focus is always on the positive so that you become more productive and successful.
Habit 3 – Put First Things First
Manage yourself with a passion – make sure that you organise yourself and get involved in activities that are in line with the aims established in Habit 2.
Habit 4 – Think Win-Win
Use interpersonal leadership and skills to maximum effort because achievements are largely dependent on co-operative efforts with others. Win-Win is based on the assumption that there is plenty for everyone and success follows a co-operative approach more naturally than the confrontation of win-or-lose.
Habit 5 – Understand And Then Be Understood
Get to fully understand how relationships work so that you can develop and maintain positive relationships in all aspects of life.
Habit 6 – Synergise
Practice and use creative co-operation – see the good and potential in the other person’s contribution.
Habit 7 – Sharpen The Saw
This is the habit of self-renewal with a clear focus upon cutting away what is dead and lost and maintaining a positive approach for renewal and development.
